Ultraviolet Blood Radiation (UBI) Q & A
What is Ultraviolet Blood Radiation and How does it work?
Ultraviolet blood radiation is the application of UV energy to the patient’s blood. A patient will have their blood drawn, and the blood will be exposed to ultraviolet light. When the blood goes back into the body it is supercharged and begins to purify all of the blood in the body. UBI boosts the immune system, increases oxygen consumption, eliminates bacteria in the blood, reduces tissue pain, increases the production of red blood cells and improves circulation.
